Alexis Apaydin

Alexis is a student at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her interest in biology began in elementary school when she participated in a science fair project where she extracted DNA from a strawberry. This early experience sparked her curiosity about how living organisms function at the cellular and molecular level and inspired her to continue exploring the field of biology. Through her studies and research opportunities at TAMIU, Alexis hopes to expand her knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and prepare herself for her aspirations of contributing to the field of medicine.
