Amador Flores

Amador is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in biology at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). At the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, he joined the SEA-PHAGES program and helped isolate and annotate a bacteriophage named Bugatti. He started college as a biology major and switched to chemistry after taking Organic Chemistry I and realizing a stronger interest in it. He plans to conduct research that draws on both fields and believes that all scientific knowledge is beneficial, as it contributes to the human collective knowledge.
