I’m thrilled to share that our team at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) has been awarded a prestigious $370,000 Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) grant (Award Number: 2408563) from the National Science Foundation (NSF). This grant will enable us to acquire a state-of-the-art X-ray Diffraction (XRD) system, significantly enhancing our capabilities and advancing multidisciplinary research and education across various fields at TAMIU. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to push the boundaries of scientific research. With this funding, we will conduct transformative research, provide hands-on training for the next generation of scientists, and foster innovative collaborations within our institution and beyond. The NSF MRI program is designed to strengthen research infrastructure across the country, and we’re honored to be part of this initiative. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the NSF for their support and to everyone who contributed to making this grant a reality. I’m excited to see the groundbreaking work that will emerge from this investment and to continue our journey of discovery and innovation at TAMIU. Fatick Nath, PhD,Deepak Ganta,Zhiyang Li, @alison H.
